Remuneration
Costs made visible
The remuneration of our lawyers and notaries is largely regulated by law. In any case we are going to explain these regulations to you before accepting your mandate and answer any questions you may have.
Notary fees
Notary fees are based on the value of the transaction and the scope of the notary's activity.

Lawyer's fees
The remuneration of the lawyer is laid down in the German Law on Attorney's Fees (RVG) and in civil cases is based on the value of the matter and the scope of the activity.
Litigation
RVG states a minimum remuneration for litigation. However, it is permissible to make an agreement on a higher fee than the minimum fee.
Example: Regarding a lawsuit claiming an amount of 900.00 €, if the lawyer has to attend a court hearing, he will be entitled to account for a procedural fee of 104.00 € and an hearing fee of 96.00 €. In addition, there is a flat rate for postage, telephone calls and the like in the amount of € 20.00 as well as VAT. In total, the lawyer´s fees are 261.80 €. Regarding a claim of 6.000 €, the lawyer´s fees total at 1.076,95 €.
Consulting and representation
The lawyer's fee can be freely negotiated between lawyer and client. In the event that no agreement has beeen made, the RVG statutory rules provide framework fess.
As a rule, our law firm offers advice and representation at appropriate hourly rates. Where sensible, flat rates or representation according to the RVG statutory framework fees can be agreed on instead.
